I had already spent a couple of hours online and on the phone with customer appreciation people when I was told the deal I missed (free iPhone 6s and $179 iPhone 7 upgrade) was over they instructed me they could give me the 6s for $179 and the 7 for $379. all I needed to do was go into the store where they would give me the best support and credit on my account to offset the difference of the price change on the phones. Everything was fine until I went into the store. I was told the iPhone 7 was $530 and the 6s was $299. So I was basically responsible for over $700 in charges to exit the store with phones. What really upset me was the customer service rep talked in circles on why the phone support team told me a lower number for my account. After four phone calls by the rep, one walk over to Telus, I ended up leaving Bell because of the "shenanigans" on pricing. I was a regular customer who paid my bill promptly every month. I was even going to be happy to pay $300-$400 for the two phones. Now I am with Telus where I received 2 iPhone 7 for $30 each and a similar phone plan without any hassles. Pretty sad that when you are a customer companies can't give you there best foot forward. I was an incredibly happy up until my experience with this customer service rep. My small business rep in Vancouver, John, was amazing when he signed me up. I should have just called him directly. Sad state of affairs Bell.
