- Ross King Added 2017-11-15★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆Having spent over 6K on a BD transmission only to have the valve body fail at 100K. Sorry no warranty as time elapsed by a year. Tried to talk to the warranty person Vic and was shut down at the receptionist, says he doesn't do calls, so I emailed. Guess he doesn't do emails either. Valley injection re worked my valve body $1700. Got it back and drove it for several months with a very hard shift. Finally able to tow my trailer the truck shifts so hard it was going to rip the king pin off the trailer. Take it back for an adjustment and they have to now replace the valve body, another $700. Told me they did me a favour as that was the cost. This valve body still shifts hard. Wish I had my old transmission back.
You don't need a BD Transmission, any transmission shop can make you a super heavy duty transmission at half the price.
